Aspiring Singer Needs to Learn to Sing Deeper to Improve Chances of a Musical Career
Singing is the most important part of my life. I hope to someday have a career as a singer, but a recent experience has caused me to become discouraged. A local radio station held auditions for their version of “American Idol”. Of course I tried out and was devastated when the judges told me I didn’t make it. When I asked the reason why, they said they felt my voice was too high pitched. I know from my anatomy class that the size of the larynx determines the pitch of the voice. So if I happen to have a small larynx, what can I do to learn how to sing deeper with meaning? I did what I always do when I need to research a subject and turned to the Internet. There I found a website that offers advice on learning to sing deeper and CDs with a complete course on the subject. I’m going to follow the plan outlined on the website and I will continue to pursue my singing career.
