Does Water4Gas really work?

It seems highly improbable that by simply fitting a water bottle under the hood of your car, attaching a set of electrodes and using the gas that evolves to feed into your engine, you can double your MPG. But hundreds claim to have done it. The Water4Gas system provides a set of instructions to build such a system and install it in your car. But if it works so well, why isn’t it installed under every car hood by the manufacturers? The developers of this system have patented the technology, but that wouldn’t prevent manufacturers from installing the system under license. Imagine what an improvement in sales would result from marketing a car that only uses half the gasoline of its competitors. There must be something holding the manufacturers back.

Are the manufacturers under pressure from the oil companies not to bring in radical fuel saving technology because oil sales would drop? Are the manufacturers in a cartel that none of them is prepared to break? Is the government involved? Are there political pressures at work here? There must be something going on.

The water4gas website lists dozens of satisfied customers who have achieved the results promised. Now I’m not naive enough to think that everything I read on the Internet is gospel truth so I’m going to install a system in my car and see what happens. For $97 it sounds a small price to pay to try to understand what’s going on here. I love messing around with my car so it’s going to be a lot of fun installing and running this system. Watch this space and I’ll keep you posted.
