SIPPs and You
There are a number of options for UK residents when it comes to investments for your Self Invested Personal Pension and their investments.
First off their is commericial property. Residential property is not allowed but you can make some pretty good investments in commerical properties these days. There are many other SIPP investments available, including ground rents and gold bullion. Unlike, the UK government, you can keep your gold!
Another option that is worth looking into is endowment policies that you can trade with, as well as derivatie products, and stocks and shares of a recognized exchange. These are two final options that might work for you:
Authorised UK unit trusts and OEICs
Authorised UK UCITS funds
Research your SIPP provider and find something that is right for you.
