The Concepts of Nursing
When you are a nurse there are many different nursing concepts that will alter your experience. First, what type of population are you working with? Is it under served? Is it English speaking? Is it a community of people? Next, what is the culture? What type of families do you work with? What are the main customs? There’s also the environment you are working in. What is your support staff like? Do the doctors respect the nurses. Do the nurses respect the doctors? All of these questions and concept come into play when defining the important concepts of nursing and the philosophy of nursing.
