Planning Thanksgiving dinner
When you start planning your Thanksgiving dinner the first item on your list is the roast turkey. Depending on how many guests you have coming over for dinner determines how big a turkey you need to buy to prepare. The average size bird roasted is fourteen pounds because this size bird cooks more even than the larger birds. Very often since the smaller turkey cooks more evenly and faster they tend to be more juicy and tender. If you have a large number of family and friends coming over for dinner you will want to use a larger turkey to make sure you have plenty for everyone.
