You have to pay what?

Now that you are done with your divorce proceedings, you find out that you still have to support your now ex wife. This is not a fun situation but it is a realistic one.

Keep in mind that alimony is not a punishment. If the rolls were reversed you would want the same. If she was not working because she was staying home with your children, finding a job could be hard.

This is just a way to be polite and allowing her to get back on her feet. It is important to remember that you were in love with her once. While things are not going good now, take a step back. You are no longer married.
