Spanish Lessons a thing of beauty
My sister adopted a child from Nicaragua, and she wanted to give her son an opportunity to discover his ethnic roots and family ancestors. She realized that simply going back for a quick trip , wasn’t going to be enough. When he was 7 years old she registered him for some Spanish lessons to a near by youth center. Miguel became very interested in Latin culture and became friends with some Mexican boys in the neighborhood. She never pressured him into learning his parent’s culture, she just showed him a way to discover all the beautiful ,cultural legacy. It was a beautiful bonding experience.a
