Ensuring Safety In Ohio CCW Training Shooting Ranges
When I underwent Ohio CCW training, the training facility was very strict in implementing the safety precautions inside the shooting range. An orientation video is required to be watched before anyone can use the range. It was a modern shooting facility and it caters to a wide variety of firearms. It even has state-of-the art technology with targets that are computer controlled.
To ensure the safety of everybody within the shooting range, the wearing of ear and eye protection is mandatory. There is also an imposed limit of persons per lane and on the number of people inside the range at a time. Certain types of ammunitions are also not allowed to be used on the ranges.
To keep the air in the shooting environment healthy and for other safety reasons, black powder guns are not allowed. Also, the shooting range features a modern air filtration system to keep the burnt powder and lead dust away from the shooter. With the secure environment and atmosphere inside the shooting range, everybody can focus on learning.
