Why I want to be faster
When I was 21 years old I joined the Nebraska State police. My stepfather had been a police officer over at Omaha for 22 years and I always respected the job he did. The other reason I joined the state police was because of the pay, it’s actually quite decent. Six months ago I was involved in a foot chase and I lost. Right then and there I needed to figure out ways on how to get faster. Losing a foot race with a suspect isn’t exactly a black mark on your record; however it does not look good and I never want that to happen again.
