What are USB memory sticks?
If you’re somewhat computer illiterate, you probably know what floppy disks and CD’s are, but you may not know about their contemporaries or how much they are becoming the norm in disk storage. Standard USB memory sticks (also called USB “flash drives”) look a bit like a computer mouse except that they are about one quarter of the size. Also, instead of a cord protruding from the device is a metal bit called a “USB connector”. As it sounds, the USB connector connects the memory stick to a computer when inserted into a port, which nowadays is normally located on the front of the computer.
